JUDICIAL LAW CLERK APPLICATIONS
 

EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY

Arizona Supreme Court clerkship applications and materials are being accepted from law students who expect to graduate in 2026 and wish to apply for the 2026-2027 term. The deadline for submissions is June 9, 2025. The justices will conduct interviews on June 16, 2025. The Arizona Supreme Court complies with all state and federal laws prohibiting discrimination and provides reasonable accommodation to disabled individuals as required by the ADA.

The following justices will be accepting applications:

  • Chief Justice Ann A. Scott Timmer
  • Vice Chief Justice John R. Lopez IV
  • Justice Clint Bolick
  • Justice James Beene
  • Justice William G. Montgomery
  • Justice Kathryn Hackett King
  • Justice Maria Elena Cruz

APPLICATION PROCEDURE: 2026-2027 TERM

The application materials must include:

  • Cover Letter
  • Resume
  • Law School Transcript
  • Undergraduate Transcript
  • Writing Sample
  • Two to Three Letters of Recommendation

Arizona Supreme Court Justice Maria Elena Cruz is accepting clerkship applications and materials from law students who expect to graduate in 2025 for the 2025-2026 term. The application process will close on March 24, 2025. The Arizona Supreme Court complies with all state and federal laws prohibiting discrimination and provides reasonable accommodation to disabled individuals as required by the ADA.

  • Law School Transcript
